Would love to believe. However, I have a hard time believing a cx rep would tell anyones friend on the sly about such a major development.
Comment by petej on December 6, 2012 at 6:21am Elnathan, great to hear from you.
A couple of questions:
1) Could you give more information on the Shell/New Lebanon meeting from the letter? I have not yet received one. Maybe when I get home.
2) How were those in the Grove City area notified? And please, more detail on what they were told.
Thanks Elnathan. Look forward to your reply.
Comment by Michael R on December 6, 2012 at 6:20am Lets see if someone can clarify this. A friend who just talked to a cx rep (today) told me that Halcon has agreed to pay the outstanding bonuses. Has anyone heard anything about this. Im talking about everyone, not just the group 1 members. This doesnt seem accurate since cx and m&p just had a signing for the majority of group 2 members with Hilcorp. My friend was told a group of landowners hired an independent attorney and this was the result.
Comment by Elnathan Cory on December 6, 2012 at 4:28am I am with Hilcorp. Not totally happy but I had to take what I could before it was too late. Got a letter yesterday about a Shell meeting coming up in New Lebanon. In other news those in the Grove city area were in formed that they are in the least desirable area.

I agree. More Utica Shale conversation!
They are picking us apart! SE Crawford, NE Mercer and NW Venango is a very prime location!
The problem is there are not that many of us due to HBP. Unless someone has a better idea, I suggest we all go with CX- Energy as a group. NO, I DO NOT WORK FOR OR MAKE ANY INCOME FROM CX!
To date, everything stops at county lines. CX -Energy is present in all three counties. I will be back shortly with my suggestion for a tri-county group within CX.

Did you sign with Hilcorp and are you happy with the lease? Or are you still bound and gagged ( lol ) ?
Comment by petej on December 5, 2012 at 10:25am Frank,
Like you, I have my doubts (Halcon). A lot of my friends and neighbors to my west, Sandy Creek and Perry Twps, could use that money. The ones I have talked to have not been paid as of 12-4-12. Original deadline = 10-19-12.
Comment by Frank W. McCafferty on December 5, 2012 at 8:24am Halcon's promise (number two) (first broken) to pay the remaining Mt Jackson 4 group members that it didn't reject looms in the air. December 21st is the deadline. I have my doubts.

AboutWhat makes this site so great? Well, I think it's the fact that, quite frankly, we all have a lot at stake in this thing they call shale. But beyond that, this site is made up of individuals who have worked hard for that little yard we call home. Or, that farm on which blood, sweat and tears have fallen. [ Read More ] |
