Wow! I just signed a guaranteed lease Wednesday for $569,000.00 with Halcon! That is what I call hot hot hot...................................... 569,000 hots! Anyone still think Mercer County is not hot? 90 days or less until payday.

Tracy, if you want to know where your money is, cut out the middle men. Call Western Land Services in Michigan. Who do you think the lawyers call when they need to know something?

Jim doesn't have his facts correct. I signed with M&P Lawyers in Oct. of 2011. The fee was 6% of the bonus money per acre at that time. Then in Jan. of 2012, 90 DAYS later, I signed to get an additional $250 per acre. However, that is when I also found out that M&P had partnered with Co-X, and the fee had changed to $250 per acre, which comes out to be a little over 7%. Someone told me that they attended the meeting mentioned below in Stoneboro, and the fee has increased to $450 per acre! Huge increase! AND I am still waiting for my check. Supposedly May 1st now.
