John, I Your speculation seems possible. and you are right about the location of the TGP pipelines. I wonder did they already drill 4 wells or will they come back to drill two more at a later date. I only see permits for two wells. That is a big pile of jingle that Alliance Petroleum is playing with, we should see some action in those two townships in the near future. That company is a oil and gas drilling company formed in 1985.

Do you think this has something to do with the proposed Chevron well on Hosack Rd?

WTF- I was told by someone with knowledge of the Chevron McCullough site that Chevron plans to drill at least 4 wells. If you recall, Chevron was at the Hurtt site for an extended period also. Is it possible that the Williams Bluegrass ROWs that Tracy referred to are for the McCullough well? The township for the ROWs is not listed yet, but the names look like it could be Jefferson TWP. I'm going to guess the ROW will tie the McCullough well into TGP lines to the East.

There was an interesting transaction recorded in Mercer County involving a company called ALLIANCE PETROLEUM CORP. There are 2 mortgages recorded under this company involving Lake and Fairview TWP's totaling $106,700,000 (not a typo). Below is a link to the Mercer County Recorder of Deeds website. Sign inas a guest and look up the company above.

Does anyone know anything about this or of those involved. One name I recognize but do not know the connection.

There are quite a few ROWs recorded by Williams Bluegrass pipeline at the courthouse today.

Chevron--Jefferson Twp./McCullough,   The big rig is gone from the site. Records on this site indicate the rig arrived at the site on October 19, 2012. Almost 3 1/2 months to drill 2 wells! Chevron states that they are still operating in the exploratory stage. I think they must of had a lab set up at that site. Chevron seems like they are a very intense company that operates with a lot of precision. If you notice their well sites are always top notch where other companies are here and gone before the mud settles. We hear talk that Chevron will complete two sites in Mercer County in 2014, one in Jackson Twp. and another in Finley Twp.

I borrowed this from TM on the GMS homepage on the Bluegrass thread, but what I found interesting is the "proposed" MERCER lateral. It sounds as though the line into Mercer County may be optional in relation to the entire Bluegrass project. This might be the reason talk of the pipeline with TGP has gone quiet per WTF. I'm hoping the reason is the ROW is already in place and there's nothing to talk about until all the ROWs are completed.
