Does anyone have any idea why there is so little activity in Lawrence Township, Tioga County? We are leased through 2011 with East at $60/12.5/5 and were hoping for a top lease since they are drilling within 2 miles of us but they refuse to budge saying they do not top lease if you have more than a year on your existing lease. Was wondering if anyone had heard of any near future plans here for drilling.

Greg; are you seeing much activity in Tioga County? Since I turned down East's offer, I haven't heard a thing. Do you think your group can get landowners more than East's 'firm' offer of $1500/15/5? I've heard from many sources that they refuse to budge.

So nice to see some options developing and appearing on this site! Thank you Greg.

You may want to consider our new landowner coalition, Twin Tiers Landowners Coalition at www.twintlc.com. We will be focusing on Tioga County, PA and Steuben County, NY.

I had been part of a group that R & R Consulting negotiated for about 2 years ago, and they actually negotiated the first and current lease that I hold with East at this time. East wished to replace this lease through R & R about a year and a half ago. I was not satisfied with the lease offer and refused, holding to the old lease. Ultra is now afiliated with
East in Tioga County I believe. The people at R & R seem to be good people wishing to give a good service. Never the less, They are not the only negotiating body in the area, nor will East and Ultra likely be the soul drillers in Tioga County. Hear what R & R offers, but look into some other options. Beyond this advice, I do not wish to state any more information in this public forum. I think tha each member of this Web site has a private in nox, although I seldom find anything in mine.

I am curious to find out with all the Marcellus shale talk out there, what it had done to price of land. I have a property in Wellsboro area.

We have 10.3 acres in Gaines Township, south of Pine Creek, and Ultra Resources has offered us a lease agreement. We are currently reviewing the contract. I was wondering if anyone had any experience with R&R Energy Consulting?

Hi. If you have an offer of $350 an acre and are not in a big hurry, you might want to hold off a bit. Also, check out a site rlstore.tiogapa. A huge amount of drilling permits have been applied for and many aproved in the county. Much activity, both drilling and pipeline, is going on. I think that lease payments may be substantially greater there soon.
