For Buckeye Mineral info, refer to the Blackridge chats (October 16 929 chat or around there).
Please advise how I can get a hold of Buckeye mineral @ (312) 659-4481, or post on this forum...THANK YOU
Bob gave many examples of problems people in Trumbull Co. are having getting their titles clear before deadline. He and a gentlemen from Chicago Title could not stress it enough how important it is to make sure your title is clear of any old leases in advance. Also, that if you have a mortgage on your property that the bank is ok with a gas lease. If not you may want to refinance with a local bank that will approve of a lease.
I think it was a very good meeting but am still not convinced to sign up. Did I miss something? shouldn't Buckeye Mineral set a minimum on what we would accept on bonus money per acre? Shouldn't we have copy of the lease he's trying to sell? I know Bob Rae has done this before but I just don't feel comfortable signing up with them not knowing what we could get stuck with for what could turn in to a lifetime lease.
Picked up that the seismic testing in the area revealed that there still is some potential in the Clinton formation. Understood to be very localized.
i couldn't attend the meeting with Buckeye mineral last night due to work issues. Can anyone give me a idea if anything new was presented to the group with regards to Ashtabula County. i have already signed but am interested in new input? thanks in advance>

I am hearing that action is soon on the way. After the first of the year some things are gonna start picking up north. The head man on a drilling rig said evrythings gonna be picking up in the new year...... including Ashtabula County. Talks are also picking up with landowner groups.
Buckeye Mineral Development will be having a meeting Thursday Nov, 15th at 7PM at the Middlefield Sale Barn located at 15848 Nauvoo Rd. This will be a sign-up meeting if you are interested in working with Buckeye, and Bob will also be bringing us up to date on recent developments in Ohio.

AboutWhat makes this site so great? Well, I think it's the fact that, quite frankly, we all have a lot at stake in this thing they call shale. But beyond that, this site is made up of individuals who have worked hard for that little yard we call home. Or, that farm on which blood, sweat and tears have fallen. [ Read More ] |
