Ouch Adam......hope you have a better price to offer at your meeting......like 150% more than what you've been offering.

LMAO!  Welcome back, Adam!

Same as before, you twist everyone's words around to suit your (Wishgard's) needs!  I never, EVER said Wishgard hasn't paid out on leases they signed landowners to...THIS is what I ACTUALLY said:

"As I said, there are MANY posts throughout this site where landowners with clear title signed on with Wishgard, yet were not paid within the specified time."

That, and my other comments in this forum, simply means that Wishgard has not always paid (or HAD to pay yet)...

I agree with you about owners in other groups not always getting paid (perfect example is the attorney group in PA last year that had HUGE problems with just this!), but my EXACT words said that I know of (and have seen NO examples in this forum or any other) NO ALOV group members not getting paid!

Now that I've made THAT clear, maybe you can tell Ashtabula County residents on here just what Wishgard is going to tell landowners who show up at the Wishgard landgrabbi...I mean leasing!...meeting at St. Mary's Church in Orwell next week.  Maybe about how much better landowners who signed with Wishgard in Trumbull County did with Wishgard than they did with ALOV...even though most ARE going to get 2300 dollars an acre less!  Even a meager landowner such as I with my 7 acres realizes that that would translate to a net loss of FIFTEEN THOUSAND ONE HUNDRED dollars, in my situation.  WHAT, exactly, would that 16,100 dollars have bought me over the ALOV deal?   :-D

Ed, I'm sorry but you are wrong. Wishgard has already paid dozens and dozens of landowners in Geauga, Trumbull and Ashtabula counties. They paid the leases that had clear title and are doing all the curative work on the titles that need done to clear all that can be cleared at no expense to those landowners. This completely disproves everything you have just said. You also may want to do research on other land groups and you will find that there are a number of " land groups" have made deals with drillers that never got paid out or a small percentage of the total acreage actually did get paid once the driller got done cherry picking the pool. A deal is great for ALOV but time will tell who gets paid that.

No clue, Susan...but as I said in a different thread, ALOV says it signs a separate agreement with the O & G company that states that unless ALL unencumbered properties in a group get signed and paid, then NONE of the group leases are valid.  Whether or not this document exists, I don't know...I've never seen it.  Wishgard, however, has never even said that all their leases must be accepted.

As I said, there are MANY posts throughout this site where landowners with clear title signed on with Wishgard, yet were not paid within the specified time.  I have yet to find one such post from ANY of the past ALOV group members...

Have all participants in ALOV's first group gotten paid?

Comment by Ed Ganelli on March 30, 2012 at 4:15am

Exactly, John...I've asked several times for Wishgard reps to post ANY of their leased properties in Ohio where Wishgard paid the landowners BEFORE an O & G company had reached large leasing agreements in that area...so far, ZERO examples!

As far as Wishgard "leasing" more than 400 properties in Ashtabula County, NONE of those are actually leased until the landowner gets paid.  Those filings in the Recorders Office are just Memorandum of Lease records...shows that there is SOMETHING there when records are checked, but DOESN'T show whether or not there is a valid lease.  Check around on this site...several posts about Wishgard NOT paying for the "lease", but landowners not being able to lease with anyone else since Wishgard drags it's feet filing a Release with the Recorder's office...

Earliest Wishgard leases I can find in Ashtabula County were from October of 2011...since the 120 BUSINESS days to pay specified in the leases translates roughly 180 ACTUAL days, Wishgard hasn't had to pay anything - yet!

They say that to get folks to sign.If they don't flip it and don't pay, the agreement is null and void and they are out nothing!!
Comment by Ronaround on March 30, 2012 at 3:17am

then the claims of 120 days should stop. i talked with them at one time, I did not hear anything about waiting for anything, just 120 days.

Wishguard has 400 leases in ashtabula co because those folks either didn't know any better or they were desperate for the money, also just pure greed!!
Comment by john p halloran on March 30, 2012 at 2:55am
Wishguard won't pay anyone until they flip the leases, its a bit like a pyramid scheme. As they flip the leases, they pay the bonuses. They aren't going to pay out all that money until they have a sure thing.
