i have only heard from some people that i know that have went to him in the past for this service and from people that known him personally. from what i can gather he had around 15 years working in the gas and oil business and it slowed down in the 80's and turned to law. i know that i feel the same as many other people when i saw that most lawyers(90%) are over paid crooks as most of our politicians , but we need them to pass laws and to interpet them also . so if he would be biased because he works out of ashtabula county i dont know either way . seems like a pretty stand up guy from my accounts

Jerry Lemire is experienced with the oil and gas leases.  I'm not sure what you mean by biased but I do know he has much experience with these.  I know several landowners he has helped regarding the oil and gas leases, regardless of which leasing company you choose to work with.

When you say biased do you mean that the attorney also represents a gas/oil company etc and that he won't go 100% to help you find if you own the rights?

Biased or non biased. I am lost here. Can you fill in the blanks for me without getting in trouble. I thought a good O&G attornery is just that.

When you have to pay big bucks for their services I would expect big buck service in return. Are these attorneys rated online anywhere or has anyone out there hired them for O&G research and leases? Has anyone out there hired any other O&G attorney on their own?

I welcome all feedback. Just like Wishgard. They approached me and I never knew anything about them until readers like you filled in all the blanks.

Does anyone know of an Attorney in the Ashtabula County/TrumballCounty area who specializes's in "Attorneys Opinions" on mineral rights/leases? My friend told me that only a very few attorneys are qualified to do this.

If you are looking for information on Buckeye, or any other mineral company, you really need to go to a meeting. At the very least send someone who you are willing to bet your property on. There will be information, including an email address. What is most important is to attend the meeting. Get the information.

Does anyone know or can recommend a good (very good) oil and gas attorney? I do not want one who does divorce, DUI, dog bites, neighbor disputes, wills etc. Someone who just specializes in oil and gas leases.
Someone who can look over a 10+ page lease before I might sign it or figure out who actually owns the mineral rights to a piece of property and all state laws regarding them. I am in southeast Ashtabula County and have heard that many of the good attorneys are in PA.

I looked and talked to some attorneys and when they spin their eyes and take a minute to give you an answer I can tell they would rather handle a divorce.

I always look at their website and advertisement first so no attorneys who do other types of case.

Appreciate any suggestions if you are allowed to give them.
