Hilcorp is getting closer to our property, they should have signed a lease with us before they applied for those permits. They can't drill any north laterals from either of the Lyons site or the Morton site without drilling on our property. Halcon is talking about leasing us again and if thy lease us the only way Hilcorp will be able to drill is south and mainly east we also own the property west of the Lyons site. I guess this should give us some good lease terms? :)$$$$

Thats how these permits start out Samuel, then once approved for storm water they get more detailed after that. I don't remember 1 being denied yet that I can think of.

Lyons and Morton are not "Drill and Operate Well Permits" but appear to be preliminary permits for Erosion and Sediment Control and Storm-water control. Hopefully Drilling Permits will follow soon.

Bruce H has produced a fabulous map of Mercer County permitted wells with lateral lengths and orientations. See Hilcorp-Jefferson McGhee... thread. I wonder if he will update this exceptional map as new information comes in. I recommend his posts to above thread to all Mercer County GMS users. (The map does not show the just added Morton and Lyons well permits.)

Morton - 275 Booher Road, Sandy Lake Twp.  Lyons - 264 Glenn School Road, Sandy Lake Twp.  These properties are only 2 miles apart as the crow flies and only 3 and 5 miles west of HK's Allam well respectively.

Looks like both of those farms are pretty close together on north side of Sandy Lake Twp. Anyone have an idea where the Mcknight and Mcdonald  well pad permits are at in Pymatuning twp.?

Wasn't there supposed to have been a huge meteorite hit that area according to Halcon? LOL!

Elnathan- I get an email alert from the DEP thru eFacts for any permit activity in Mercer County. My guess is Sandy Lake TWP. I can't think both would be in the borough.
