It's good to know that they are doing an update - I felt sorry for the people working in the recorder's office the last few years. It was really strange to go into what had been a quiet, old-fashioned county building and see ALL those people...

Thanks, Dan.  Yeah, I know Ches. was going to pay to computerize their records.  I keep checking Landaccess.com and it looks like they may have done the computerization, but they haven't put them on the web.  I'm a couple hours away from Harrison, so I don't just hop over there and check them out very often.

HB, the recorders office got a grant from Chesapeake to get all the deeds of record up online, and they've been working on it.  They've announced a couple times that they are almost ready, so it could be any day now.  Probably sometime this year anyway.  You could call their office to get the latest projection on when it will be up and running.  It will sure make things more convenient for everyone, including all those crowds of researchers that crowd into the courthouse every day.

Does anyone know when Harrison county will get their act together and put their records on the web (like Belmont and a dozen other Ohio counties)?

Check out the top story on Marathon. They are modifying their Canton and Kentucky refineries to process the Utica condensate. See the link...

One local crude buyer/refiner, Ergon, with a refinery in Newall WV, has three classifications of oil/condensate that they are buying from Marcellus & Utica producers. Here's the link

http://www.ergon.com/prices

The lower prices for the light oil and condensate reflect the fact that the refineries in this area have limited capability to process these products and they must be shipped to refineries near the Gulf Coast and blended with heavier crudes.

Charlotte, I think Peter covered the NGLs/wet gas very well. When it comes to condensates, I think the companies are usually refering to oil, which in this area is a very light sweet crude. Here's Gulfport's last press release on their operations. See the link.....
