My neighbors and I have been offered $8000 an acre for our mineral rights (20%).  What kind of value are they putiing on our area at these numbers..  Also does anyone have any insight about the 3 pipelines Mark West is running north out of there plant through the county home.

If you are leased with Gulfport you might be interested in listening in to Rhino Resources conference call tomorrow. Rhino is invested (5%) in Gulfport's leased acreage and provides pad construction in the Utica Play. See the link....

Rebecca, The plat map for the Henderson South 10-12-6 has a note #4 that may explain why the map does not show your land in the unit. Chesapeake will probably be bundling multiple Henderson wells into a 640 or 1280 acre unit that they haven't established with the ODNR. This seems to be how Chesapeake does their permits.

I have some concerns pertaining to whether I am included in a unit, cant seem to find any factual information. Early in this process was told I was in the Henderson south unit, water test was done for 10-12-6 henderson south, . Why I am inquiring is because I am weekly being contacted by landmen to sell my rights,  I do not have alot of land a little over 17 acres, am in no hurry to resell, just would like to know the facts . Just this morning another landman called wanting to buy , telling me I was a little less than 600 yards short of the unit. Tried the ODNR, but cant seem to find well plat maps, any point in the right direction would be appreciated , thank you

Bill, we didn't even ask you if that well was producing into a pipeline yet!  Is it true that Henderson is not connected yet?  If not, then I would guess that royalty amount is just for some marketable liquids that were collected as they flared or flow-tested the well, which would mean that your check is no indication of what your actual royalties will be once they are really online.
