My lease is an ALOV, most likely the same as yours. I will be checking the Kramer pad for a rig on 4/15. Seems like the oil/wet gas area is getting some play.
thanks for reply.my lease expires same day.wonder if drill bit will be in ground like lease states..do you have alov lease too?
Ray, I'm not in that unit but my place on YMCA Road looks to be in a new three well permit by Chesapeake (Kramer permit) that's located off Norris Road. The pad is under construction. My lease and my neighbor's lease expire 4/15/19. Obviously they're scrambling to beat the deadline. The pad for these wells is in Franklin Township. The Kramer permits show up on the ODNR O&G Well viewer but the Akers permits aren't shown.
anyone else in the unit being developed in Nottingham twp on adams road.name on board is akers.they have 4 permits on board
well i contacted them last week to make sure they know my contract expires aprik 15 unless the bit has hit the ground. they said chessapeake is still handling things for now. chess told me they have my property listed as in operation. so i took a drive down there and sure enough they are clearing pad site in nottingham twps on long road. ill check april 15 to see if rig is up and drilling
Just curious if anyone has received any communication from Encino. ???
Charlotte, you can purchase a plat book from the Harrison Soil and Water conservation District office that shows a map of each township, with roads, section lines and number and landowner parcels with ownership and acreage. They are very useful. They typically run from $15-25, depending on the county.

It appears Gulfport is preparing to bring a rig back to Harrison Co wet gas window. They have secured 5 permits for the Luyster pad in Nottingham Twp. and 3 permits for the Management pad in Moorefield Twp. Both pads were built a couple of years ago before they moved south to drill for dry gas. Maybe they want the NGLs for the Shell cracker, or maybe for export.
The Ohio DNR has released 3rd qtr. production numbers. See the link...
that's great news crossing fingers!!

AboutWhat makes this site so great? Well, I think it's the fact that, quite frankly, we all have a lot at stake in this thing they call shale. But beyond that, this site is made up of individuals who have worked hard for that little yard we call home. Or, that farm on which blood, sweat and tears have fallen. [ Read More ] |
