Here's an excellent article with alot of good info (some is a recap) that summarizes where we are today. There is also some good investment advice, if your bonus money is not spent.

Chesapeake CEO McClendon speaks at the governor's energy symposium. Does this play compare to the Eagle Ford? Are your unleased mineral rights valuable? Sounds to me like this is the real deal.

Peter,

Your links are all AOL mail attachments which don't work here. You can post those files on a public website and link to them there or you Add a Discussion and upload the files with that Discussion.

Here's a study that's just been released by OOGEEP. Hopefully the links will work. The study focuses on the benefits to Ohio relative to jobs, tax revenue and consumer savings for energy.

"The Ohio Oil and Gas Energy Education Program, along with Kleinhenz & Associates, is pleased to announce the release of the 2011 Economic Impact Study.  Attached is the study, fact sheets, and news release highlighting this event.  Currently there is a lot of positive media attention surrounding the study.  If you have questions, please contact OOGEEP."

YANKEE PIPELINE Company...who owns it and does it still exist?  Could they possibly now be owned or associated with Chesapeak?   Does anyone have a contact number?  I may have some issues with them.  Thanks

Scott, If it is the same Teppco Pipeline Co, they were acquired byEnterprise Products Partners LP in June 2009. Here is a link to their web site. They have working relationship with Chesapeake Midstream, I beleive.

I am looking for some info on a pipeline that runs along the edge of my property in Archer twp. I always thought it was a gas line and never thought otherwise until I read the sign posted this past weekend. The sign read Teppco petroleum pipeline. Can anyone help me out with this ?
