Triad leased 32,000 acres around Washington and Noble counties
MNW = Landmen. Triad Hunter is a division of Magnum Hunter out of Texas. Triad is drilling in and around Washington County.
When we signed with SEOLA, there was about 14k plus acres in the deal, in just the northern part of Washington County. I know it's a good deal higher now. I have little doubt, this company has the most acres signed in the county so far. But, SEOLA can answer a lot of questions for you, with no strings. All I can say, again, is that I'll never, ever be sorry I signed. My life has changed so much this past year, all for the better and mostly due to the bonus. And, if they don't have a producing well in about another 3 1/2 years, I'll get the same bonus again, or be set free to sign with another company.
Who is MNW Energy and who is Triad Hunter? What do each of them do?
Contact Doug Mallet at MNW Energy. They have closed deals with Triad Hunter and Protégé. Their group has done an excellent job and are very professional. His email is mallettdoug@hotmail.com
Who to contact and How to find out what Leases exist on the properties in Washington County? Are Leases on file with the County Courthouse? with the ODNR? Anybody know who and what to contact?
It does not make any sense to sign a lease with one outfit if all of the neighbors, who would need to be involved in the POOL, are signed up with somebody else.
Also, lots of the Land in Washington County are under 1970's era leases that are producing little or nothing on shallow wells. Are these Shallow Leases, paying hundred or even tens of dollars per year sufficient to hold the current mineral leases for the land? IF so, has anyone already gone to the trouble of hiring Legal Council to break the Leases via the Pooling Clauses? If not, Anybody want to?
I very, very strongly suggest that anyone who has property in Washington County who has't leased yet, contact SEOLA. They got a GREAT deal for many landowners there last year. Including an amazing lease with an excellent company. We were paid very quickly. This company is now in the process of pooling in order to start some drilling, and when I called them a couple of months ago, they were looking for more acreage there. I didn't lease my land without researching for years, but this was a great bonus and wonderful lease with pages and pages of landowner protections. http://seohiolandowners.org/about_us.aspx
Did Vortex pay any leases in Ohio. Vortex Petroleum LLC is the Delaware corporation formed in June 2013 that Attorney John Wells and SOEC were promoting after DUX paid nobody. Like Dux, Vortex is a shell company with no assets, no history of drilling wells, and with no ability to drill wells. I pose this question because apparently Attorney Wells may have taken his traveling roadshow to West Virginia and it appears that man landowners in Pleasants, Tyler, and perhaps Wetzel County signed leases in favor of Vortex. Supposedly thousands of acres are involved but to my knowledge none of the leases have been paid.
Mike McDowell, regarding Utica in Ohio, I have 80 Acres in Washington County in the Dunham Township Area, West of Marietta. I will advise you if I hear of anything and would appreciate it if you advise me as well. thanks. Roy

AboutWhat makes this site so great? Well, I think it's the fact that, quite frankly, we all have a lot at stake in this thing they call shale. But beyond that, this site is made up of individuals who have worked hard for that little yard we call home. Or, that farm on which blood, sweat and tears have fallen. [ Read More ] |
