Take Pew road north from Golf Road.  Not too far up the road, you will see pipeline crossing markers.  The McGhee pad will be located up slope in that field/woods on the east side of the road.  It's even easier to see if you use google/bings maps and look at the aerial view.

Clarification: Not rumors, but efacts data by email.

I also heard rumors about the McGhee well that is proposed.  I heard that it will be near the Shenango River somewhere, I am assuming down near the Army Corp property above Big Bend?  I tried to get coordinates off of eMap, but to no avail.  I also read up on the Bluegrass pipeline a little bit.  It does appear to be near the TGP system.

John, The TGP station is in Jefferson Twp. I was on Stester Road about 1 mile south west of TGP station and I see a lot of survey markers along the old TGP right of ways. I heard that Bluegrass is running adjacent to these pipelines and on their right of ways. This would save Bluegrass a ton of money and time.

Bill,

I had commented below about a processing plant that I heard was being proposed at the end of the Bluegrass pipeline which ends somewhere near the TGP station 219. I'm not sure if that's Coolspring TWP or not. I'v e also heard that farmer up near JR's neighborhood (whom I won't mention here) was approached about putting a gas processing plant on his farm near where the TGP lines cross Rt. 19.

Today's Sharon Herald states that the McGhee well in Jefferson Township by Hillcorp is a go. Projected to drill in 2014. A property owner in Coolspring Township has been reportedly approached by a company to build some kind of a gas processing plant on their property. If anyone knows any details about that plant, please let us know. I understand that the Palmer well will be fracked in Dec. They are going to run a temporary water line from Lake Latonka over to the well site for use while fracking. Drive past TGT pumping station on route 58 and you can view all the construction underway in preparation to pump products south.

Samuel i dont know anything about this business, I'm just on the sidelines watching this unfold like everyone else.

Bob: In response to your question about the wet gas / dry gas line. ...Halcon's Allam well in western Venango county is wet gas. That being so, I would think the wet gas/dry gas dividing line would not run through Mercer County but some place through Venango County to the east of the Allam well! How far east, I cannot hazard a guess. If my thinking is wrong, please correct me. You know way more about this business than I do.

Does anybody have a feeling that swepi is drilling the east side of this play to find out how far the wet gas is?

Good Seeking Alpha article about Halcon today which suggests that cash-flow should improve dramatically in 2014!
