The company is soon beginning seismic surveys on our property. The tests should be completed by April.

Lynn,
as far as I know they have not fraced yet.... no pipeline is in yet... it will prob be 2-3 more months before production unit is established...from my own experience here in covington, they fraced the first well in august, and production didnt start until november...three wells here on my road have been fraced and burned off.. fouth one fraced but not burned off yet...be patient... if you are in the production unit you will be notified..

Susan; I'm right around the corner from Don on 660. I used to buy hay from him. Do you know if his well is on a pipeline and producing yet? I'm concerned that East is pushing to get all these wells in, but are they making any royalties yet?

Gerald, I am in covington, but am very very familiar with pine creek area... I was raised next door to Donnie Johnson (has a well on rt 362.) My family had the small farm just to the east of his property... sold it one and a half years ago....all rights went with it...... Pine creek is about 2 miles from there...the area is very near and dear to me

You may want to read my "Outlook for Marcellus Development in Pennsylvania and New York – December 2009" on our Twin Tiers Landowners Coalition website (www.twintlc.com, see Viewpoint, 5.). Marcellus development will go forward in NY and both NY and PA landowners will share in the wealth. Three events this week reinforced my confidence in the long-term prospects of the Marcellus.

Chesapeake has folks in almost every NE PA courthouse right now.

I was told that Chesapeake had several people in the Tioga County's Register and Recorder office last week. Can anyone verify this ?

Lynn, we are just starting our group, but offers are just that. I would never tell you that we could do better than a current offer. You need to decide on your own. The only thing I will say is that there is strength in numbers and that we will do our very best to get you a fair and reasonable offer. We certainly don't want to appear to advertise on the blog.
